Here is another email scam, this time they are claiming that my email address won $2.8M from the United Nation compensation program i association with the International Corporation LTD.
I must have the luckiest email address ever, I constantly win things… Yet, I never get them…
Obviously if you received this type of email, it’s most likely a scam. The way these try to work these scams is by saying that you were selected to receive all this money, BUT you have to send them some sort of money for them to be able to confirm your identity and release the funds.
Here is the scam email I received:
Your package worth the total sum of ($2,800.000.00) United State Dollars in an ATM CARD is here in our office. It was deposited to this office on Friday 14th of April by the United Nations {HEAD CONSULTANT} saying that it was won by your email address in their ongoing online random selection Compensation Program 2022 in association with the International Corporation LTD.
What you have to do now is to contact our delivery department with your information and as soon as we confirm your details our delivery team will commence with the delivery of your package to your designated address immediately. You would required to submit information below:

What to do if you received this type of email scam
Ignore and Delete. That is the best thing to do.
If you respond to this email, and/or give them any of your information, they will add you to their list and continue to send you more fraud emails, along with selling your information to other scammers.
When I received this email it had the title: URGENT ATTENTION / IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION
and came from email address: [email protected]
