Did you receive a Norton Antivirus renewal email and wondering if it’s a scam? Most likely it is just an attempt from scammers who are trying to get you to call them and cancel the order.
There are two things they achieve from this, one they get your phone number and can now add it to their list of possible people to scam in the future, or sell the list. Two, they try to scam you by trying either get your financial information or access to your computer to gain information.
This is what this email claiming to be a Norton Antivirus Scam says:
Your subscription with Norton has been renewed today. Amount has
been directly debited from your Bank Account and it will reflect in your
account statement within 24-48 hours. If you are happy with Norton
services. Don’t forget to give a feedback.
If you did not make these changes or you believe an unauthorized
person has accessed your account you should call support Desk as soon
as possible.

As you can see, what they want is for you to call the phone number they provided (253) 656-4526
Don’t call, no they have not charged your card or collected any money from your bank. Its a Scam!
If you call they will record your humber. They will add your phone number to their list, and continue to send you scams to your phone and sell your number on a list to other scammers.
If you reply VIA email, you will get more scams as well.
The best thing to do is to ignore and delete this Norton Antivirus renewal email. It’s a scam!

Receive two email similar to this Norton antivirus renewal notice today. One had the phone number 808-481-3038 and the other 808-480-8970. Both are the same scam.
Here is another one of these Scam Renewal Scam emails
This email came from email address : [email protected] and had a phone number they wanted called to 803-891-9111.
The email said i had successfully sent $249 to Norton.
Because so many people don’t see the bill on their accounts, they now have adding “Please not that it may a little while for this payment to appear in the Recent transaction list on your PayPal account.” This is not true.
If you have recently received one of this fake scam emails claiming a Norton Renewal, please leave the number that was on the e-mail. Many people like to google phone numbers before they call, and this could help someone not fall for this scam.
