How the Scam works
If you received this email and call to because you did not renew a norton subscription, the scammer on the other side of the phone will want you to be on your computer. They will want to create remote control and access to your computer, gain control, and collect information from your computer and bank account.
If the scam goes further, they will say they have issued a fake refund, and modify the numbers on your bank account to show you that you have received more money that what was supposed to have been refunded.
They will them demand you send back the difference in the form of gift cards, or money cards.
